Fun fact! Today was the first day I’ve ever read an NHK article that wasn’t NHK News Easy! I read the easy article about the weather and clicked the link for the not-easy article. And I understood 90% or more!
Granted, the difference was no furigana and some more advanced vocabulary that I guessed from kanji. The “hard” article might have been shorter than the easy one.
It feels like I’m not just walking with you guys, I’m also actually getting somewhere.
