How many reviews are you doing per day?

this is probably my fault bc i average 70 new items a day (starting a translating job next year), but recently it’s sitting anywhere from 300-700. This Tuesday a lot of my expert reviews caught up with me and i did 1000 in one day.

I’m very grateful to live in Japan, and as such it’s easier to use and remember vocab, but man it’s a lot sometimes

I think you may misunderstand what i mean. I don’t like ringotan’s way of teaching stroke order. With all those steps. It’s tedious. I like to practice with a pencil and paper and a stroke chart

That’s good at least. (I still prefer Campus notebooks and a pencil)

I think writing/output in general is valuable, but it’s smoother to do after getting some foundation with reading the kanji/vocab/grammar point. Otherwise with kanji you’re learning the semantic meaning, the on’yomi, kun’yomi, associated vocab AND how to write it. Writing kanji also helps distinguish 2 similar kanji too.
