I totally get where you’re coming from. Honestly, DeepL and professional translated works could already “solve” like 80% of the material I want to experience, and with the pace that those Machine Learning protocols have been improving I expect it will only be a few more years before I would technically not need to understand a given language anymore. I still plan to keep learning languages for the rest of my life as it’s an incredibly fun and interesting experience that I wouldn’t trade for the world though.
