Friday I watched

Subtitles for this movie simply do not exist, but it was followable fairly easily

yesterday I started watching

it’s mildly above my level but I think it’s because I’m not familiar with police vocab. It was nice that I was able to puzzle together some longer unknown nouns based on known fragments though. The story so far (2 ep in) is interesting. It’s mystery / crime

Last but not least

I managed to found a few hundred or so episodes of 家、ついて行ってイイですか？ | テレ東・ＢＳテレ東 7ch(公式) - it’s a TV show where they find random drunk people after the last train departs and offer to pay them a taxi ride in exchange for seeing their homes. Comprehensibility varies wildly by episode, so I can’t really estimate. Some episodes are easy, some are extremely hard. Really depends on what they end up talking about. I watched 5 episodes so far

I am also working towards N1 and I also loved ヤニねこ but it is a bit (or a lot!) gross if that is an issue.

Other good anime are ダンダダン、光が死んだ夏、葬送のフリーレン、薬屋のひとりごと。

I’m not watching ヤニ猫 after having watching the third episode, probably saving for letter.

My pick of this season is さよならララ which reminded me of Sonny boy and 異国日記 by its feel.

It’s an オリジナルアニメ that takes place in 滋賀 which means almost everyone’s speaks 関西弁 except main character who speaks 王女弁.

It’s an essay about what 本当の愛 means, and it has soo many senses told in each second of it!

To me, it’s so good that I cannot even continue watching it, because I cannot find such a good occasion. Same as it was with Sonny boy some time ago, and now with 異国日記 (monogatary are also there for Shaft reasons)

Fullmetal Alchemist. I’m N3 it’s tricky with both chemistry and military vocabulary.
I’m surprisingly good at the chemical vocab guessing from the Kanji,(and experience reading nutrition labels) and the characters speak more clearly than most Shonen anime.
Probably recommend watching it after Attack on Titan, so you already know the military terms.
