Everyone is ok now, been checked out at a&e. Now I have to catch up on my studies, thankfully it’s almost the weekend hahah

I totally forgot to update here! I have been studying everyday and even attending a language exchange meeting in my city. There aren’t regular Japanese speakers there but it’s still nice to network with other language learners.
I also went to a conference to discuss empowering women in the field of translation and the boom of Japanese literature in western cultures. I was totally fan-girling as I met Ginny Tapley Takemori and Allison Markin Powell. the experience gave me a huge boost in looking into translating literature, which is a dream of mine that I thought I could never achieve, but they gave me so much advice, Ill be forever in their debt.
I’ve done well with my studies today and just need to finish off my Bunpro grammar cards and then continue working on translating 魔女の宅急便. I know it has an English translation but I thought it would be a nice book to seriously start translating and so far I am finding it quite straightforward but engaging.
