My goodness, I just paid €1220 for train & hotel and I’m not even confident I can pass the exam. Is this the price of London during the Christmas season?
That seems quite high, although I guess it depends where you’re staying, where you’re getting a train from and how long you’re staying. If you’re just there for the test then you have been absolutely ripped off, but if it’s a bit more of a holiday then it might be more reasonable.
I’m just there for the test.
Ah well, hopefully you’ll at least get nice accommodation then!

I’m travelling from The Netherlands! 
I did consider Leicester at some point. I don’t remember exactly what reason I had for picking London over Leicester, but it might have been simply that it’s more difficult to reach for me.
