Oh, man, I have no idea. I didn’t get to see a lot of Tokyo since I only had a few days there (the rest was spent cruising around Japan). I did like the area I went to in Ikebukuro (went to Sunshine City and the big Animate store). I liked how nice Ginza was: I wish I spent more time there. Honestly, I liked it all!
As for the other places I went to in Japan, my favorites were Aomori and Nagasaki. Even though they’re on opposite sides of the country, I want to go to both again and explore some more. I plan to do a write-up of my trip on the forums about my impressions as a first-timer to Japan and as a learner of Japanese. (Plus unexpected dual-language immersion of the cruise ship!)
