Does anyone else sometimes think the Japanese word is WAY cuter than the English equivalent? For me 帽子 is super cute, but hat isn’t :sweat_smile:

@BradAndy95 The Korean word for 帽子 to my ears sounds even better /cuter, 모자 (moja). The romanization looks very different from ぼうし but if you listen to it it’s basically just a softer, more gentle pronounciation of ぼうし.
Another fact: 모자 written in hanja is 帽子 just like Japanese, but 모자 can also be written as 母子 in hanja, then meaning mother and son. That’s kind of nice, right?
