I liked seeing Himeji there. I wanted to go to Kobe too, but I didn’t have enough time. Oh well, maybe next time. I don’t know much else besides the main 2 cities.

ガンダム Gundam (anime about mechs)
Actually I live in Kobe. It is a wonderful city to live in but there isnt all that much for a tourist to do to be honest. The city center is fun to walk around in, the harbor is lovely, you can a great view of Kobe and Osaka from Mt. Maya also the oldest onsen in Japan is a little bit outside the city!

Very nice. I always get tempted by the videos I see of the amazing cuts of Kobe Beef and all the other restaurants I find from YouTube. How are the Sakura there? I think they start blooming in the next few weeks?
This was the start of the hunt. I saw this video and wanted to try eating there at least once.

There’s some great food here. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on Kobe beef, the okonomiyaki and teppanyaki (outside the city center) are delicious and reasonable!
To be honest I moved here last year which made me really broke during sakura season so I didn’t see all that much but I’ll let you know in a few weeks!
Within Kansai I don’t think you can beat Mt. Yoshino in Nara though.
