Ooooh, I really like this idea! If we actually add in some relevant history about Japan and the like, start at Jōmon, have lots of interesting stops with stuff like the Asuka and Edo period and the like! Fantastic suggestion!

We could have it in two sprints, because the Jōmon started… I believe around 13.000 years BCE (someone please fact check me 
). There was the paleolithic era before the Jōmon even, some 30.000 years if I remember correctly, but not too much of interest BCE really. We could have the first leg of the race be at 1 year / review, and once we get to the year 1 we switch to 1 month / review. Means :
BCE : 13.000 reviews
CE : 24.252 Reviews
Total : 37.252 Reviews. So very close to this one

If we did the history one, then as we go along, people could (completely optional) put in a fun fact, or something entertaining (related to the moment in time), then at the end could have a poll and the winner gets a rarer version of the badge? (just like a gold background compared to silver say…)

I like the idea of a historical trip through time, I spend tons of time reading about Japanese historical warfare (as I practice a few 古流武術(traditional martial arts)) so that’s certainly got my vote
