Last Update - God help us!
going to finish the JPLT study guide practice tests and try to focus on things I’m not doing so hot on - my Kanji/Hiragana/Katakana are fine.
I didn’t get to review as much of the material I wanted - I suspect I’ll be doing a lot of plane reading on my way to my test location. Like I said in the previous post I’m realizing that my vocabulary is a lot weaker than I thought because I let Wanikani Sync and so instead of writing and typing vocabulary, I recognized a lot of kanji and not the hiragana equivalent. I’ll even see something, not know what it is and guess on the answer (I can sometimes reduce a couple answers) - and when I read the explanation it’s like “YES - tired - I knew that…crap”
so if I don’t pass, or ever if I do, I’m going to go to the level 12 vocab and take it down a bit. maybe level 6 (seasoned 2 - that’s an option) - I’ll also try the cram option of course before sunday but it’ll take a lot of luck and 50% accuracy to pull it off - it was doable in some of my practice exams, so we’ll see
Listening is an utter crapshoot - greetings are fairly easy and will save my bacon I think - and the ones where i select a picture cause I can prep my ears to be listening for “desk, table, bookshelf” and location words.
no matter what, I’m going to really have to reevaluate what I want to do as far as going back and re-hitting everything, or going on to N4. I will keep participating in the JLPT thread and see you all on the other side on Sunday
