not quite sure how i managed to lose some days in the year, i’m 99% certain i didn’t miss a single day. the android app was somewhat buggy at times with me having to knock down certain things from mastered because i was quite sure they weren’t close yet at times? either way, i’m very happy with having consistently done my lessons and reviews daily for a year, having started november/december ish last year.
i’m fairly satisfied with my progress - at the moment i’m spending more time on wanikani to learn a ton of kanji, hopefully next year i’m going to start making a shift to focussing more on bunpro for learning. for good measure, my wanikani chart, having only missed the one day i had an ear infection

After blowing up my account and restarting a bunch of times I think I finally found a good pace lol. Funny to think I coulda been much further along if I went slower.

Love to see those stats! I would love to see how many hours I’ve spent overall all year around and not only at the end of the year.
Also for me is the recap not working. I get 0 on every metric as I already tried a bit early this year to view my stats by changing the url. Is there a possibility to regenerate? And more importantly, could we get the time spend stat outside of this recap?

I would not say “putting it away” but using it to read and watch the news is definitely a thing to do. It’s nice to have the theorical part, but having the experience with it is even better. So like don’t give up on the learning if you wanna progress more and more, but definitely put your japanese skills at use and enjoy it
