A question about the sentence 「クラスメイトとタバコの悪い点について話す。」

So I ran into this problem today which was sort of confusing. From the vocab section library. The top one is what I got during the quiz, the bottom one is what was offered in the learning section. Smoking vs Tobacco. Don’t want to sound weird, but I would know if this is normal. Will I more likely encounter a situation like this in the future? Both are right in the way they use it. I just ended up putting in タバコを吸う Intsead.

Thanks

This thread covers the answer to your question:

The short answer is, unfortunately you will encounter inconsistent translations, mostly with vocabulary points, since AI was used to create the translations.

Just one thing to add, タバコを吸う does not work in this gap; it needs a noun or a noun phrase. You could nominalise it but it’s easier to just remove the verb. There are some more specific nouns too like 喫煙, but タバコ gets the point across.
