Hi @casual! I came across a website that provides a few more examples of how to use the particle い. Here’s the link: コトバンク - い[終助・間助・副助]
As mentioned by @samburv, わい is primarily used by older men. Additionally, the combination of an imperative form of a verb and い is informal, and also commonly used by men. As explained in the grammar lesson, they’re rarely used in daily life and that makes searching for more examples a bit difficult, I assume.
While searching for examples of the particle い in books and manga that I own, I found a few examples listed below in Osamu Tezuka’s manga “Black Jack”, which is a story of a lone wolf unlicensed doctor. (volume 12 published by Akita Shoten) This manga also uses plenty of sentence-ending particles to describe unique characters.
Dialogue spoken by a middle-aged drunken doctor B (in episode 5, “リンチ - Group assault”)
A「そうとうアルコールにやられてますね?」B「さよう・・・ご覧のとおりですわい」
A “You’ve been hit hard by alcohol, haven’t you?” B “Yes… as you can see”
B 「この村の有力者が娘を手術してくれといってきたんですわい」
B “An influential person in this village has asked me to operate on his daughter.”
Dialogue between a kidnapper A and an innocent child B (in episode 12, “身代金 - Ransom”)
A「さっさと寝ろ」B「だっておしっこ」・・・A「よーし、早くしろい」
A “Go to bed right now” B “But I need to pee”…A “Alright, hurry up”
B「ぼくこういう生活大好きなの」A「生意気いうない」
B “I love this kind of life” A “Don’t be cheeky”
Not so many examples, but I hope these can be somewhat beneficial for your studies
