I’ve been looking forward to adding my own self-study sentences for fast cramming. (creating easy to read/ understand sentences that focuses on grammar construction only)
However, I’ve realized that creating self-study sentences manually through Bunpro’s interface is a bit repetitive and time-consuming, so I used an AI prompt to automatically generate a CSV file with japanese; answer; english, hoping that I could quickly copy and paste everything into Bunpro. (My idea was to copy one line from the CSV and paste it directly into the self-study sentence creation interface.)
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be possible. No matter what kind of separator you use (semicolon, tab, line break), you can’t paste it into the self-study sentence creation interface.
I was wondering if I’m doing something wrong? Maybe someone has already found a workaround in the past?
Bunpro lets you create a deck using a CSV file for vocabulary (which works very well, by the way). I was hoping we could have something similar for self-study sentences, allowing people to export/import/share practice sentences (e.g., sentences from popular textbooks or YouTube teaching videos)… or maybe this feature already exists and I’m just unaware of it?
Thank you for reading. Do you guys often create self-study sentences, and for what purpose?
