い-Adjective + です

For the grammar point of making an い-Adjective polite by adding です, it gives the alternatives as:
あついです。
あついのです。
あついんです。

In the explanations it covers the first, but not the other two.
Is this covered and explained in later items or am I supposed to look it up independently?

のです・んです・んだ・のだ are all variations of the same grammar point that you’ll see a little bit later (but not too many points later): ~んです・のです (JLPT N5) | Bunpro – Japanese Grammar Explained
