Advice on using Bunpro mainly to drill Genki grammar?

I’m new to Bunpro and in the early stages of my Japanese learning journey.

I’m using the Genki textbooks as the foundation for my studying, and then using WaniKani to drill kanji and Anki to drill other vocabulary. (I’m also going to do conversational practice on iTalki once I’m a little further along.)

I was hoping to use Bunpro mainly to drill the grammar that I’m learning in Genki. I selected the Genki 3rd Edition path in Bunpro and got started, but it seems like there’s as much if not more of a focus on vocabulary than there is on grammar.

As mentioned, I’m already using Anki for vocabulary and also WaniKani, so having vocabulary in Bunpro is fairly duplicative for me. Is there a way to keep doing the Genki 3rd Edition path, but to “turn off” the vocabulary portion so that the focus is entirely on grammar?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’m thinking this is what you want to do…

Go to Content > Decks > Pick the grammar deck you want to study from > Add to Learn Queue > Go back to Dashboard and set your learning preferences.

Alternatively, if you already know this content, you could add the Deck, then go to the Practice > Cram section to drill the content.

This is exactly what I’m here for. I’m at chapter 8 in Genki and what I’ve found is that earlier grammar points aren’t aticking because I’m not using them enough. I’m hoping that with Bunpro my grammar retention will grow. My vocab retention with Anki has been pretty good, I’m at 800 mature cards with Anki.

Thanks so much! This is exactly what I was hoping for.
