I typed ひまない and and it doesn’t go green. But goes green when I put ひまな. But ひまない is also shown as an alt answer
I tried cramming this and don’t see any alternate answers for it. It should only be ひまな since it is a na adjective and is preceding a noun. Maybe cram and review is different, but can you show me where you saw the alternate answer being ひまない
As far as I understand, 暇ない would mean that you have no free time where as 暇 and 暇な mean that there is free time.
I saw it when I was doing my review, as you can see in my screenshot the ‘Ans.’ Is highlighted, which would change the answer between ひまなand ひまない when I tap it.
This is a sort of confusing piece of UI, but if there were alts for this, the “ans” button would be labeled “alts”.
Since you got it wrong, tapping the “ans” button just sends you back and forth between your wrong answer and the correct one. It isn’t super clearly shown which is which right now.
Sorry man I don’t have it as a regular review at the moment so I can’t check anything other than cram for the moment. After I finish my morning reviews I’ll create a ghost review for it and see if it has the same issue.
That’s strange. When I do mobile reviews if I get the answer incorrect the show answer button can be pushed, but after I push it and it displays the correct answer, the show answer button changes to say that there are no alternate answers
Oh I see alts and ans are different buttons? I’m so new to this app
Hey
When you provide wrong answer, you can type on “Answer” button (Ans.) which will show the correct answer. (In this case, correct answer is ひまな)
When you do so, the “Answer” button will be replaced with “alts” button. If you tap on the “Alts”, the alternative answers will be shown in the text field every time you do so.
However, when there are no alternative answers, the button will be grayed out, and won’t work, like in the case of this sentence:
I hope it helps,
Have a nice day,
Dominic
Oh okay thanks
