I been using bunpro for a while now and I been wanting a change in pace which anki deck should I use? I don’t have a lot of disposable income to be spending so free would be great

you should never pay for an anki deck lol. So many out there free

What anki deck do you want? If you want to learn basic words then core 2k/6k is good (first 6k most common newspaper words in order). 245.56 MB file on MEGA

However if you want to immerse in content sooner then this deck Core 2.3k Anki Deck - Version 3 (Core2.3k) - Core2k/6k with improvements! | Anacreon DJT
has the most common 1970 words from visual novels anime etc to get you started, once you finish you’d want to mine your own words on anki from material

Want to second that you should never spend a dime on anki or anki related add-ons.

Do you do much immersion? A great option is to build your own deck from content you consume! It makes the cards much more personal and easier to remember-a change of pace for sure! You can use yomitan to establish a one-click card creation flow

If you want to build a base vocabulary to make consuming content a bit easier I recommend the kaishi 1.5 deck. A ton of care went into this deck and has contributions from long time learners and native speakers alike.

If I were to guess then DstoryD might be referring to the system where some Japanese language influencers offer “exclusive” anki decks through their Patreon. Making them pay for it to recieve it. First one coming to my mind is Dogen, but that’s more niche. Your recommendations look better for DstoryD.

That’s great. I had no idea yomichan had a successor. Going to switch over from 10ten reader and try mining through yomitan for a bit.

Thank you for the link.
