Are there some grammar points about "but" or "because" in N4?

I think I have learned all the ways to say “but” and “because”, but aren’t there more in other levels?

Why are there so many ways to say these words in Japanese?

If there’s ever an absolute ton of ways to say the same word like ‘but’ or ‘because’, usually I find the differences are differing levels of formality and also if it’s used in writing or used in speech.

Definitely have a look through example sentences and what register each are.

I don’t even find “but” and “because” that bad. It’s all the ways to say “have to” that get to me. :upside_down_face:

I imagine that many of them are on different levels of formality. (the difference between “nakerebanaranai” and some other grammar point I can’t remember right now is alien to my smooth little brain)
