Audio sentences Anime - Help!

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask your help.

One year ago I found an interesting post with a Google Drive link to anime sentences in an audio format (maybe mp3 files but I’m not sure). An user created these audio files to re-listen anime episodes when he couldn’t watch them, but still he wanted to practice his listening.

I tried to look for everywhere on the forum but I cannot retrieve the original thread.

Someone know where is possible to find all these audio files?

Thank you in advance!

Looked around for a bit, no luck. Were they all from the same anime or a mix

Thank you for your help!

it was a huge list with audio extract from main animes. I really regret I didn’t save that link!

It could be better to extract the audio from your own favorite animes. If you have the episodes downloaded, you can convert/extract the audio from them using VLC, Audacity, ffmpeg or online websites (it’s also really easy to extract audio from YouTube videos on some websites).

I took a look as well, and it looks like the post with it no longer exists.

Tagging @Asher, since I think he was the one who originally posted it?

I remember that post. I checked the original Google Drive link and the resources are now private (rather than taken it down entirely). Your best bet would be to contact the original poster (sorry I don’t remember who that was) and ask for access.

There’s a site called immersionkit which does something similar.

I second immersion kit. You can look up sentences by content if there are specific words you want to review or by work if there are any shows you are fond of and would like to study from. You can also save them as audio files and it’s all free.

I third immersion kit. Finding examples of words used in context rather than waiting for them to possibly happen in the wild is extremely beneficial.

Hi all!

Yes it was me that originally had made this post. We stealth took it down last year due to a user expressing concerns that it may be some kind of copyright violation. I still have access to the drive and usually just give people access on a case by case basis whenever they email me about it.

If you would like access to it, just swing me your email address via a private message and I’ll send you an invite :+1:.
