Hi! If you don’t know the answer, you can press the enter key twice and it shows you the answer. The retype option if for if you made a mistake while typing but still know the answer, e.g. typing too fast and missed a key.

Hmm, I’m not sure I fully understand your question…

Is this your first time using an SRS (Spaced Repetition System)? If so, I recommend reading about how to use SRS in general. That should make everything make a lot more sense to you.
[@Asher Is there a link you could provide to documentation on how to use SRS, particularly if there’s a link directly to how to use BunPro?]

The basic idea with SRS is that if you answer wrong, you just let it be wrong, and continue on to the next item. As you finish up your review session, the system will present you with the items you previously got wrong, and you can then attempt to answer them correctly. Once all items have been corrected, the review session can end normally.

Any items that you answered incorrectly (at least once) during a review session are automatically scheduled ‘earlier’ for future reviews, so you get more chances to practice on items you need more practice on. And all the items you answered correctly (i.e. no mistakes) during a review session are automatically scheduled ‘later’ for future reviews, since you don’t need as much practice with them.

For more detail about how it works, look for the documentation on BunPro (hopefully someone can provide a direct link), or you can also look up general information about SRS, or even documentation for other tools like Anki or WaniKani, which work in a very similar way to BunPro.
