Back to Bunpro!

Hey y’all,

I’m finally back here (first time engaging in the forums though) after a dreadful plateau stage. I’m on level 30 now and almost done with N5 grammar but I feel like I remember only 1% of what I (barely) learnt.

I’m struggling with subscribing right now (because for some reason my card keeps getting declined ughhh), but I’m planning on resetting my reviews and starting from scratch again. It’s honestly a little too hard to do that because I’m SO close to completing N5 grammar, but I think this is the right decision for me :sob:

Anyways, I’ve been lurking around and I’m so excited to see that there are so many new features now! I cannot wait to try them out. I started with grammar wayy too early in my learning and that really had a negative impact (cause I barely understood anything lol).

Going to stop ranting now, but I’m here and finally ready to tackle the huge beast head-on and I’m so so excited!!

Welcome back! Just remember that ultimately, even though it’s super hard, it’s going to be so much more to your benefit to reset if that’s what you need. When learning Japanese, you’re in a competition with nobody else but yourself. If you need to take steps back in order to make your Japanese stronger, especially with those foundation grammar points, you will be able to continue on in a way that’s much more sturdy. Do yourself the favor, and set yourself up for success  doing the hard things now will make it easier later!

Best of luck! Cheers!

I’ve had to do the same with many of my Japanese learning materials hahaha - all part of the process
