Badge Hunting In Bunpro

Hello to all who found the title interesting!

I’m not sure how many of you have checked all the available badges you can get through the forums in Bunpro but there’s a good amount. As a person who likes collecting and showing off things, I’ve been tempted to go on a run and see how many of the badges I can get in the hopes of acquiring them ALLLLLLL

I’m currently sitting with 8/50 and all of them are of the bronze tier which is unacceptable as things stand. Because of that I have made this page in hopes of using it to acquire new and interesting badges. （Also possibly to inspire some new ones if the devs would be so kind）

The idea for this is that people can come here to share whatever they want to talk about. In theory the increase in activity for most people will get them more likes and put them in more situations to acquire new badges！

So to anyone who want to go Badge Hunting with me 行きましょう！ (Also please give me lots of likes I need them for a badge :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:)

Wow, yeah, you’re right… Is it an old badge? Very few people have it.

I’m going to be self-indulgent and try to get the ‘First Link’ Badge by linking to a post I made ages ago, but then abandoned because it was too embarrassing to continue…
(I still think Extensive Reading has really helped my Japanese, and I’ve read about 35 books this year, but journaling it in front of people is for those braver than I)

This might be kinda niche but also at some point I think it’d be fun to make a ranking system for the value of a badge based on how difficult it is to attain and how many people already have it. I know they already come in three colors but as you can look in see all badges aren’t made the same regardless of the given rank :laughing:

I think the badges on the forum come with the forum software (Discourse). I visit a couple of other websites that have Discourse forums and they all have the same badges. That might be the reason there’s a Wiki badge even though Bunpro doesn’t have a Wiki.
