I am running into some issues where I need to reevaluate how I am learning.
Basically, I am spending too much time on bunpro and I can’t dig out of Wanikani AND immerse AND continue learning new things on WK/BP. Since I am studying for N2’s July test, I think I want to take the time I have right now before the December test really immersing.
SO, right now I have a weird system for Bunpro. When my beginner grammar drops below 10, THEN I study three more points. Similar for vocab, but that is 100 beginner with 25 new words (10 from immersion, 15 from N2 vocab deck). I will not change grammar, but I think I will chip away at vocab until we are at 50 beginner and then start adding more. This will slow my SRS down a little here so I can switch some of that to WK.
On top of that, I have been a little unhappy with my body recently so I think I am gonna start a Hard(ish) 75 and put Japanese learning into it. Mine won’t be as intense as the standard challenge and have days built in for nomikai (we don’t have many though) and traveling (Nov 8, Hiroshima day trip weee), extra 30 minutes of walking a day minimum, and 10 pages of reading or other study (since I am still trying to dig my way out of SRS hell). If I fail in the 75 days, I restart.
Also can’t believe I forgot to add I passed the JLPT? Score was low but I got As in all sections, so that felt good.
