As a non-native English speaker, I sometimes know Japanese words but can’t correctly type them in the brackets. Recently, I have been struggling with a fish… not an ordinary fish, a mack… fish. I swear I mistype it 10 times per review. My brain can’t accept the correct pronunciation and tries to type it as it were a Polish “macka” (tentacle).

For me somethings it is not just spelling. My first language is Cantonese, so I have times where I understand the Kanji (as they are the same as the Chinese) but don’t know what the English means that I need a dictionary on English.
