No judgement, but this meme has an extra layer since the English is slightly wrong as well. (“you are learning Japanese for 5 years” implies that learning for 5 years was the goal (that may not have been met yet!), but presumably that’s just how long you’ve been learning, so “you’ve been learning Japanese for 5 years” would be better.)
