Bunpro's obessesion with Hospital Vocab

Just genuinely why is there so much hospital vocab in the N5 section? I figured since I already had about 3000 words I’d just go through and set all my already known words to master and continue till I reached probably about N3. Instead I’m learning internal medicine and IV. Who on gods green earth uses these words in their “N5” conversations? Is there a reason for this like the test has alot of medical words in it or something or does Bunpro just really like Hospitals?

Probably because there’s a section in the Genki 1 textbook that has a lot of medical related vocabulary. Even though it’s a beginner level textbook, Genki doesn’t follow N levels so there will be more advanced/ less common vocab.

I always pictured it as if you were to go to Japan with a limited vocabulary, then having the right words in an emergency would be important. Especially since many of these textbooks like Genki were written before smartphones.

All the train vocab always annoyed me as well. Yes, they should be useful in Japan… but at the moment I have no plans of traveling there haha
