Can i remove the progress thing (e.g. beginner, adept, seasoned, etc.)

this is kinda random i know  but my inability to tell the difference between transitive and intransitive verbs has reached the point where i now check how well i know the word (normally transitive verbs are more well known) to answer the question :sob:

does anyone know if it is possible to remove the thing that shows the level of the review (beginner, adept, seasoned, etc.) when i am doing reviews so hopefully i actually learn the verbs :sob:?

You can try enabling “Focus mode” in your review settings, but that will hide your session progress too. I don’t know if there is a way to disable just the word level indicator though. I also sometimes use it to cheat on words with similar meanings

When you open your reviews, go to Settings > Interface > Review Behaviour > Hide Review’s Level to hide this. Good focus catching yourself ‘cheating’ like this, solving reviews through associations other than the sentences themselves definitely leads to long term bad habits.

Ooh, I didn’t know about the method zconnor mentioned! Here is another one:

Make sure “Review SRS” is set to “Hide” in your review settings.
