I canāt quite remember how long my streak was, and at first, I thought, āHeck yeah!ā butā¦
I have to say no.
But the more I reflect on it, the more I start to feel uncertain. I lost my streak during my vacation, a week where I truly wasnāt making any progress in Japanese because I didnāt have any internet connection. Right after that, I moved out of my parentsā house. So, my Japanese streak not only reflects my dedication but also marks how long Iāve been living independently. Iāve got ussed to seeing that number rise slowly; skipping up would feel like it undermines the authenticity of my journey, because thats the farest I ever got it. So, while I appreciate the offer,
