Cannot fully clear reviews

…and it’s driving me up the wall! Maybe I’m missing something.

So essentially, I do all of my reviews, but my dashboard persistently says I have 11 remaining. When I click on review it just shows my previous review session summary.

I found a workaround (or so I thought) because I realized a few specific, basic grammar points never showed up in the queue at all, even after I learned them (adjective+て, for example). I removed those and re-added them, which got me to zero.

But now, after a couple of review sessions, I’m right back to having 11 reviews that I can’t do! Am I missing something totally obvious? Is this a weird bug, or am I a bonehead?

I think I have the same issue. This is after a one month vacation and restart.

I have the same issue too. It always says I have more vocab to review but then takes me to my summary when I click on it or the review number will be different then my home page. Sometimes it fixes itself for a day or two but then my review count will be off again.

I seem to have a similar issue. Reviews count in the dashboard is higher compared to the reviews count I have when I start the review process.

Just some questions for you two:

  1. Have you used Vacation Mode recently?
  2. Are you both using Vocab with Translate / Fill-in questions with the Manual Input type?
  3. Do you mind if I log in through your account and manually check your Reviews to help me bugfix this?

Strangely the count gap has decreased in the last couple of days until yesterday (I think) it reached a match. So currently it seems like there are no problems.
The initial gap reported seemed to appear after a few weeks of not doing any review and them piling up, but not sure whether this is related.

Had a look at your Review queue – didn’t notice anything strange… but then again your Review schedule and activity is hectic! :sweat_smile:

Might just be a one-off that the one time I visited it worked.

Lemme know if you see it again and I can try again.

  1. Started vacation mode about May 10, removed vacation mode around (but after) June 7 (or so).
  2. Am indeed actively using Vocab with manual input.

My gap seems to have gotten bigger but I did just have it on vacation mode so maybe that is why?

  1. Yes, I do put it on from time to time. But even when I don’t use it there are still issues with review number.
  2. I have both grammar and vocab set as fill in questions and reveal and answer right now.
  3. Yes, that would be fine.

I seem to have a similar problem, not exact I suppose but close enough to be suitable for this thread I guess! O:)

My review forecast doesn’t always add up and I would like to be able to schedule my studies accordingly to my reviews but as I don’t know the precise amount this makes that a little difficult!

What can we do to fix this? O:)
