Can't seem to be able to Mark as "Known"?

Hey guys!

This is my first post! I tried searching for my answers in the search Icon but couldn’t find it! Hopefully i’m not repeating myself here!

In the FAQ for Bunpro it states:

"The Lessons page is like Bunpro’s index page, where you can freely browse all of the content on the site and choose which grammar point you would like to study and add to your review queue. Each grammar point has information on your SRS progress, as well as a fourth option (Self Study) to add your own sentences that will show up alongside your normal Bunpro reviews. Each grammar point in Lessons has options to add or remove grammar points from your review queue, reset a grammar point’s SRS level, or mark that grammar point as “known”. "

I am currently exploring the Lessons page and I can’t seem to be able to mark anything as Known or to be able to remove some Grammar Points (that I already know) from my future Study Queue? Am I missing something?

Basically what I want to do is go through every level available and remove grammar points that I already know. I lived in Japan and i know quite a lot but i’m sure there are some things that I missed which is why i wanna leave only the things I missed in there.

Thank you for your attention!

@Samuraikitten Welcome to Bunpro and to the community!

Once you click “Add to Reviews” on a grammar point’s meaning page, the options to add or remove grammar points from your review queue, reset a grammar point’s SRS level, or mark that grammar point as “known” will be displayed.

We believe that no matter how well you “know” a grammar point, there is always something to be learned or reviewed when revisiting a particular structure. This is why we included the “I know this!” button within the review controls. Bunpro is already designed to give you complete freedom of what to study, giving you the option to cherry-pick specific grammar points and skip the ones that you do not wish to study.

Let us know if you have any further questions or if there is anything that we can do to improve your experience.

Cheers!

@Pushindawood

Thank you very much for your fast answer!

Finally I see that option and can personalize my study a bit more!

May I ask what exactly changes with “I know this!” option compared to “Remove from reviews”?

@Samuraikitten “I know this!” marks the grammar tile under Grammar or Lessons with a stamp (:bunprogold:) so that you can visualize what you have labeled as “known” (the stamp will be red if you simply add the grammar to your review queue, signaling that it is in progress).

“Removed from reviews” takes that particular grammar point out of your review queue without affecting the grammar point’s SRS. So, if you study a grammar point a few times and remove it from your reviews and decide to add it back to your review queue at a later date, it will be right where you left it.

Cheers!
