Clarification on XP reward in different study styles

Recently, I have switched over to using the translate style studying (Japanese word, English fill in) for my bum pro and I’ve noticed that after review sessions the amount of XP that I get at the end of each session is less than when I used to do the fill in style questions. I was just wondering if this is something that perhaps I’ve just never noticed that’s changed or I’m now seeing a drop-off in XP perhaps because of changes to the XP system or maybe this style of review is just calibrated differently for the XP reward, but I was just looking to see if I can get some clarification on this topic.

Thanks for any help

Hi there!

Just confirming you’re referring to XP and not B-Point?
There should be no difference in XP gained based on the Review Type.

You do get less XP on the lower levels, and more XP on the higher levels, but this is regardless of if it’s Vocab or Grammar, and regardless of Review Type
