wow congrats! I’m studying (I would rather say «fighting») to finish Bunpro as well, but I’m really struggling. Do you mind sharing your settings (do you activate ghost reviews, do you limit reviews per session etc.)?
I have default settings! No limit on anything, just did 5 new grammar points a day. Staying constant is key, doing reviews every day and studying new topics every day. That’s what matters
Interesting.
And, when reviewing, did you try to understand every sentence, or was grasping the overall “gist” enough for you?
As for me, probably because I’m not used to read a lot in Japanese, every sentence is kind a battle between Bunpro and the jisho
Understanding everything is key. It was harder at the beginning but later on the grammar points start to make more sense and at the same time I acquire more vocabulary. Just take your time, no one rushes you
It makes absolute sense. At the beginning I was focusing only on the grammar concept without properly understanding the sentence, and now I’m drowning in reviews.
I forgot to ask you one thing: did you leave the ghost reviews activated? I don’t remember anymore if the default settings of ghost reviews are set on “normal” or “minimal”.
thats a fast pace, but also, how do you manage vocabulary? you already know them? Could imagine that N2 and N1 grammar sentences use quite demanding vocabulary, which would be the reason for me why i could never be as fast on grammar.
Sorry for replying a bit late, but yes, I have them activated, everything on default
Not really… the vocabulary is quite understandable and not very specific, which is great since the focus is mostly in the grammar point rather in hard vocab.
Regarding vocab itself I don’t use Bunpro, I use Anki, mining deck of my own (after finishing Kaishi 1.5k)
15 new cards a day (used to do 12) which gives me about 170 reviews a day, that I normally complete in around 30 mins.
