Confused about どちら meaning "both"

In the entry for どちら (どちら (JLPT N5) | Bunpro)

It lists these three uses

But in an example sentence: どちらも私のものです。this translates to “Both are mine”.

Could anyone shed some light onto the grammar at play here and why it means this?

どちらも means ‘both’ or ‘either’. The pattern here is similar to something like 誰も. Let me know if that still doesn’t make sense and I can give some more details!
