Ok I’m still not clear. I’ve added and done all the lessons for Genki I and II. The progress bars only go so far for each of the N’s. As I do my reviews, I see movement between the mastery levels but don’t see additional progress to the totals for the N’s. Is this by design? In other words, in order to see more progress on the N’s, I need to add more packs to fill in the gaps. Is that correct?

Hi there! The progress bars that you see on the main dashboard are a measure of your progress toward the total amount of grammar in any given JLPT level. The Genki decks on the other hand do not contain all of the grammar that you will find in the JLPT, so they would not be filled by just completing the Genki decks.
If you would like to complete the bars, you can either add grammar points that you are missing manually, or you can switch over to one of the Bunppro JLPT decks, which will take you all the way through the JLPT grammar. Hope this helps and that you have a rockin day
