Confused new user

I seem to have got stuck with useless reviews on my first attempt and don’t know how to get rid of them and/or how to get a better start.
( By way of context I’ve been doing Japanese for a couple of years and have finished the first volume of Japanese for Busy People and just started wanikani.)
In trying to get started on this site, I have reached a point where I am getting (too easy) reviews and lessons on wa desu mo- but also I am getting (too difficult)
reviews on a topic “ to finish” (which maybe I accidentally triggered when I looked at pathways). I keep getting おわる wrong, I literally haven’t a clue about it so I keep guessing wrongly.
From looking at the forums, there should be a way of resetting which I should find in my profile. But I cant see it. Even if I did reset, what do I do next? Do I just need to work through ですもetc.

Hi,
go to the grammar point you want to reset, like here: https://www.bunpro.jp/grammar_points/1 and then there should be a button stating “Reset Review” in the Meaning tab.

I have never used it but I guess this is the button you are looking for.

If you want to reset your whole account: https://www.bunpro.jp/user/profile/reset

Many thanks Dosde. I found おやる in grammer pressed the button you mentioned and then when that wasn’t sufficient another one about hiding reviews. That seemed to fix it! Many thanks. No real idea how the finish reviews got there in the first place. Now I am back to 18 hours for my next review of は!

I found the full list of lessons on grammer and I have started about half way down N5 which seems to work. Some of the lessons are totally new, others I know very well. My main issue is that I have not had exposure to the casual forms. So I am getting them wrong a lot. I hope that getting things wrong a lot is an OK way of using the site?
It seems a great way of learning and applying. Thanks folks for the help in getting started.
