Cramming bookmarks by JLPT level

Hey, I’ve been away from Bunpro for a little bit, I’ve tried to keep up with any changes, but still I have a question I wanted to ask:

Is it possible to make a cram selection where only my bookmarks are included from a given JLPT level?

I’ve been going through each JLPT level as a refresher, but now I want to focus on problematic items only to speed things up. I could always do a manual selection, so not a big deal, just curious if I’m missing something.

Great improvements to the cram system! Really appreciate it as it was my most used feature.

Hey! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I needed to mull it over a bit and also discuss it with the devs a bit.

You are correct in that it’s not possible and you aren’t missing something  Long story short, due to how the backend functions with Cram + the sorting data, it wouldn’t really be possible to do it in a way that would visually look nice. I think the end result would just be a super elongated list, and it’s better just to have them sorted as they are now.

I’ll have to re-check later, but I think current bookmarks inside Cram are sorted by JLPT/Lesson order, so that may help out a bit? Also, the ‘Save to List’ feature coming soon may help if you find yourself only cramming the same set of items semi-frequently. That said, this is a good thing to keep in the back of our heads whenever we make more adjustments to Cram in the future as to how best to display and group stuff like this.

Super happy to hear you’re liking the new Cram feature! I always felt it was severely under-loved personally, so the new adjustments we made should hopefully get more people to check it out. Also excited for the Reviews 2.0 styling to move into Cram so it’s finally utilizing all of that good stuff.

Take care! :snowboarder:t2:

No worries, thank you for the response. I just remember it being possible with the old system and so wanted to check for this one.

I think I’ll wait for the “Save to List” functionality. That’ll solve most things I was looking for.

Previously I wanted to be able to add custom tags to a grammar point and then be able to cram based on a set of tags, but I think Lists end up providing more or less the same functionality.
