Dashboard Review vs. Deck Review

I don’t quite understand, why do these values differ?
I haven’t ever used the big red review button, currently it says I have 682 grammar reviews.
If I click decks, I currently have 3 decks; N5(17 reviews), N4(116 reviews), and N3(43 reviews).

So that’s 682 vs 176.

Why? Shouldn’t these values be in sync?

(I had to take a break to get my WaniKani reviews down if you’re wondering why my reviews are so high. Contemplating resetting my account.)

Looks like you’re also studying N2 and N1

The only decks in my learn queue are 5,4,3

The vocab is from syncing with WaniKani, but I have since unsynced, yet they remain as well. (Not a big deal, just pointing it out.)

Learn Queue has nothing to do with the Review Queue!
Even if something isnt in the Learn Queue, it can show up in Reviews!

Never understood this about Bunpro, I would have assumed the review button was a single queue of all active decks with reviews. What is the review button exactly then?

The review deck is just for everything (anything) you’ve ‘learnt’, which could be from decks that are not in your learn queue. I like that I can just search for something on BP and add it to the list of reviews.

The learn queue is just a systematic way of adding items to your review deck. The review deck has no awareness of your learning queue.

Edit: When I started I synced with WK but got overwhelmed so unsynced and reset. Much better now
