I love the new(ish) decks feature in Bunpro, it’s a massive improvement over the original Paths system. Are there any plans to add a deck for the newer Tobira I Beginning Japanese book (https://tobirabeginning.9640.jp/)? Note this is the N5/N4 version, not the original intermediate book.
The vocab in particular would be really helpful; there’s a lot of it in each chapter!

This would be amazing! I prefer these over the Genki textbooks because of them being more recent and hopefully will be an easier transfition into tobiras intermediate textbooks when I finish my tobira I and II.
IIRC, tobira beginning only released in 2022 with the second book releasing in 2023, so they are still really new. Considering they are working on other things such as UI improvements and custom decks as well as thinking about a new srs system, I wouldn’t be suprised if this is not on their radar. Most likely scenario is they release custom decks and someone makes it themselves for the community.
But yeah, I think it would be good if they had this deck. I used tobira beginning and tobira intermediate. The transition is still rough as tobira intermediate is almost all japanese. it is still missing that pre-intermediate phase. They should try the jfz approach of slowly replacing words in tobira with japanese to help that trasition.
