真(っ) details

@mrnoone I think the 真(っ) grammar point has a few mistakes / confusing parts in the extra orange details.

  1. You wrote 真っ黄, but I can’t find that in a dictionary. Did you mean 真っ黄色?
  2. You included 真っ青 in the か/さ/し part of the explanation, but it’s a little misleading since the normal reading of 青 is あお. I understand that here it becomes まっさお, but it’s not necessarily clear why.
  3. Saying that these changes are for the か/さ/し group is confusing. This is confusing because it’s unclear if the か group means anything starting with か・き・く・け・こ or just か. The fact that you include 真っ黄(色) in the group implies that it’s all of them. But if that’s the case, it would be unnecessary to list both さ and し.

Also, for the sentence 「彼は竹を刀で 真っ二つに切った。」, only the 二 is in orange. You should probably put all of 二つ in orange.

And for 「そのことを真っ先に話して欲しかったですね。」, all of 真っ先に is in yellow. You should probably put 先に in orange instead for consistency.

That’s right. Also the cases with 真っ赤 are missing in the explanation. It’s not clear why あか gets shortened to か

I was sending requests for clarification many times via the report error function but nothing happened.

Thanks. Should we just stop sending reports via the report button? It’s unclear if anything ever happens from reporting errors that way.

EDIT: I looked at the new version. Do you still need to mention し?

Also, the parentheses are really inconsistent. :slight_smile:

By shi I meant しゃ、しゅ、しょgroup. I’ll mention it too since it is unclear.

I’ll fix the inconsistency right a way :wink: though I was sure I used one kind of brackets :persevere:

Use the report button normally, it does work :+1: and will work much better soon.
