So, I really enjoyed using Bunpro, it’s super complete. But then, I may have had the worst idea I could have.
I already know a lot of vocabulary and I wanted to speed up a little, so I got to vocabulary list and added in revision all I already knew. And now…I have like 150 words to do tomorow. Do you know if there’s a way to avoid hell studies in some ways ?IMG_3843|230x500
If you’re already knew some words, then you should marked it as Mastered, so it wont come back at all (or at least after 6 months if you have Master+ mode enabled).
I suggest, either (1) masked them as Master or (2) reset their progress, delete them from reviews, because new words will come back really quickly for reviews, if you add X words/day, you could expect 10-13 times X reviews in the coming two weeks.
I know, because I do 200-400 reviews per day on a regular basis.
If you’re new to Bunpro, take it slow.
Oooh ok, thank you !
How can I put them in master, though ?

To be honest, you can always split the Reviews up across days.
If you have 150 words tomorrow, and 0 the day after, you can always just break it up.
I feel your pain! I came back home from work yesterday, thought “I’ll close my eyes a moment and then do my reviews”, a moment became 8 hours, and now I’m facing this:
As you keep adding words regularly, those numbers will become more and more normal, but you’ll also gradually get used to it. What I generally wouldn’t do, is adding more things on days where you feel motivated, because they will always have consequences for a longer period of time.
That said, you don’t need to do all your reviews every day. It’s OK to stop at some point and continue the next day, if you have a day with a particularly large pile.
I feel you, already did 125 reviews today and still have 120 to go (89 pending right now).
I used to do all my reviews daily (between 80 to 110 ) adding 6 items a day but it became impossible as the number inflated without reason those last 2 weeks (a come back of when I added 17 words a day the first week?).
I just stopped for today adding the last N5 grammar point of the deck (still have 315 n5 vocab to do)andI will take a break and not add any items, doing around 100 reviews daily.
It will take a while to get rid of this backlog but you can do it.
Do what you can in a day (even between 30 to 50 items will add up) and wait for the storm to pass before adding new words. You can do it!
As someone who tends not to use vacation mode while on vacation… yeah, that’s how it is
I’ve been away for the last three weekends (3 day-long), meaning it feels like I’ve been trying to catch up on reviews for the entirety of August. Having some review leftover at the end of the day is alright, it happens. As other people said, try not to add too many new items at once to avoid being submerged and you should be alright. Eventually.
