Different "Wrap Up" Item Behavior on Website vs Android

I get different behavior on the two platforms. How can I unify them?

On the browser/website, whenever I screw a question up I get an item added to the “wrap up” tally. When I finish all remaining questions, I then need to burn through the pile of “wrap up” questions as one giant chunk. I’ve been doing it this way since forever.

On Android, they behave more like Anki SRS cards, where if I screw the pooch on one, it’ll reappear after a minute or two. Thus, I am burning through the “wrap up” pile WHILE I’m studying the entire question set; the “wrap up” questions are interleaved with the new questions. I only discovered/noticed this recently.

I’ve found I’m rather partial to the android behavior, and would like to replicate it in browser. I thought maybe it was a ghost setting, but then I realized these aren’t exactly ghosts, and even if they were all my ghost settings seem to be identical across platforms.

I’ve seen something a bit like that. I have my reviews set up to go by highest rank first, stepping down ranks as I go on. If I get a review wrong and it goes down a rank, it will sometimes reappear when I reach reviews of that rank. For example, I get an adept 3 review wrong and it goes down to adept 2. When I start the adept 2 reviews the review I got wrong will sometimes pop up as an adept 2 review.

I would love an option to repeat the wrap up items more frequently. An app I used for a bit was set up so it would repeat wrong reviews until you got them right. It would stop adding new reviews if you had 3 wrong reviews and only add another one once you had gotten a review right. I found it really useful.

I’ve noticed another thing - on website when the item I got wrong appears in wrap-up it stays in the ranked down level, what I consider as a desired behavior. But on contrary, on Android the item appearing in “wrap-up” goes up the rank again when I get right what is slightly weird for me and one of the main reasons I prefer website over the app. I prefer the website behavior and I like to have it in the app as well.

Now that the subjects up, I also get a different wrap up behavior to all the above mentioned which occurs seemingly randomly: During a review the incorrect points go to the counter on the side, then usually when clicking ‘wrap up’, it will go back through the incorrect items (with the little broom icon on the top).
However, sometimes when clicking ‘wrap up’ it will just immediately close the session and take me to the summary screen. No chance at reviewing the incorrect items, and its like they were never attempted. If I search for an item I know i attempted though, it has gone down an SRS level as if it was attempted and marked incorrect.

Edit: This occurs on the webpage, using chrome (I use the webpage on mobile as well as laptop)

We can probably make this an option in the future.

Some sort of “Mix in Wrap-up Reviews with normal Reviews” toggle

We fixed it in mobile app, the fix will be released with the next patch.
It was visual bug only, it works the same on both mobile and the website. :+1:
