てあげて example question

What does the て at the end of あげて do here?

It is a contraction of てあげてください。

In casual speech ください is often omitted, leaving just the て form.

Perhaps, for completeness’ sake, this little detail could actually be added to the Verb[て]-form page?
As one of those small notes on the left (“Can be used as a request in casual speech”, or something like that?)

I get that you don’t want to confuse new learners, especially at the early grammar points, but otherwise, it’s not possible to figure out this detail from the ressources on Bunpro alone.
