Came across this example sentence for the 筆者 in Bunpro’s N3 vocab deck and it confused me a bit.
後書きによると、登場人物の中の内の一人の性格は筆者そのものであるというわけだ。 According to the afterword, one of the characters in the book represents the **author**'s own personality.
Does anyone know why this sentence would combine both 中の and 内の? Seems a bit redundant and unnatural, but maybe I’m missing part of the nuance.
Thoughts?
