Failing a sentence if target grammar point is fine

Hello – I was curious whether there may be an option to pass a grammar point but not the sentence itself.

For example, a sentence I recently studied
コンクールでは、オレが3番目で彼は最後から2番目だと言った。尤も、参加者が三人だけだった。

The grammar point it was testing on was 尤も、and I understand how it links the two sentences and wants to achieve fine, so I don’t want to fail that review and drop that particular grammar point down the SRS ladder.

However, having never heard コンクール before, I was at sea with what the first sentence was trying to say. Something about being third and him being second, but furthermore I was a bit lost with the particular function of 最後から in this sentence too.

The TLDR is I would quite like to try review this sentence again, without having to fail 尤も. Has there ever been a feature consideration for “target grammar point is fine, but please fail this sentence altogether.”?

Hi there, and welcome to the forums!

The only thing I can suggest is undoing your incorrect answer, marking it as correct, and then adding that sentence manually as a Ghost.

You can do this by going to the Example sentences of that Grammar, and:

Thanks - I didn’t know you could manually add a ghost but I imagine that will pretty much do what I need when I come across these sentences! Much appreciated.
