Big fan of this one, not because of the answer, but how it gave me the repertoire 尽く (entirely of, sole purpose of, etc, in this case it means sheer in sheer force) which i love so much to use in english

I feel that sentences like this, to sound natural, should not end with 私だ but exclusively with 吾輩だ, and be read by someone with the lowest voice register possible

I searched 吾輩だ this morning, so thanks for mentioning it! And a fun fact, which I guess you already know: I Am a Cat by Natsume Sōseki is 吾輩は猫である in Japanese. So it was fun finding that out as well.
