In the iOS app, it seems to be using my review hint settings but it still resets after every question.

Good news, I have fixed this bug, which turned out to be crazier than I have thought.
The fix will be released with next update.

This is also happening on iOS 17 and a completely different phone.

I can not reproduce this error right now (itâs working again ) I changed the preset order of reviews again and now there is no problem anymore. I think I sent the last log on 17th November.
But as said, I can use it again

N2 example sentences donât have corresponding questions yet.
When they do, you can mass-convert them into the Fill-in style questions through the settings.
You can check if an individual Vocab has Fill-in questions by visiting its page and checking the Review Type menu (see my low budget screenshot)

My review forecast has been very unpredictable and hasnât been showing me when my reviews are actually scheduled - an hour shown as empty will give me several reviews, while an hour with several reviews in it wonât give me anything. Iâve tried changing my time zone back and forth and I canât get it to work properly. Do you have any ideas for whatâs going on?

it looks like there is some problem with the WaniKani vocab sync. Iâve recently finished WaniKani and wanted to sync my wanikani vocabulary with bunpro. When I click the button, a progress indicator appears shortly but nothing seems to happen. When looking at the network tab in the devoloper tools, I can see that the request to /settings/user_sync_wanikani_vocab/mark%20known fails with status code 503 after 30s (timeout? maybe because of high number of vocab when WaniKani has been finished?)
Not really a bug but in the Android application the IME isnât working the same for vocab fill in reviews and grammar reviews.
When typing words ending with ânâ, the ânâ wonât be transformed to ă (unless typed twice), when doing grammar review itâs ok to leave the ânâ but during vocab review it will give a warning asking me to type japanese (âMust be in Japaneseâ).
I even saw that during grammar review, leaving an untransformed kana in the middle isnât really an issue.
BTW, @veritas_nz , Iâm currently checking some things out on my end, and Iâll give you an update soon. Donât bother to spend any time on it for now. Iâm thinking you were probably right about it being a plugin.
Is this happening for anyone else? In a review when I hit the âopen sidebarâ and then hit the little settings wheel by âyour progressâ the little tab opens up behind (instead of in front of) the sidebar tab and I canât press the buttons âremove from reviewsâ and âreset progressâ and all that!
I got ahead of myself and did way too many vocab lessons so I want to restart some of the words progress to chill out my reviews, but I canât anymore! I noticed this for the first time like 3 days ago, but before that I never had a problem!

Enabling the option to hide furigana based on WaniKani progress has the bug that they are instantly hidden when a kanji gets unlocked despite my progress on WaniKani. In my case I realized that I learned the onâyomi but havenât had the kunâyomi on WaniKani yet but Bunpro hides the kunâyomi. I mentioned this issue yesterday as well: I feel like linking to WaniKani should use _learned_ items for Furigana instead of _unlocked_ items - #9 by NearAutomata
