I’m not sure if this is a bug or intended behaviour, but when logging in on bunpro via the landing screen (Bunpro) on pc, after logging in I’m redirected to the landing page instead of to the dashboard. I used to get redirected to the dashboard. It’s not annoying or anything, but it comes across as unintended.
yes, this is exactly what was happening. even in the summary it would immediately show up as “next review: now” and have the little popup next to the “review” section of the top bar.
however, im pretty sure it didn’t happen (at least to me!) in the past 24 hours-ish!

Is there currently a bug with prorated discount on top of the lifetime sale?
I want to upgrade my yearly to lifetime, but I don’t seem to get prorated discount for the 6+ months left on my subscription.

If you:
- have types of sentence (original, translation) hidden by default in grammar lessons,
- then unhide some of the sentences,
- then tap any kanji to toggle furigana,
…then the state of sentence visibility will reset to the original state, e.g. any unhidden sentences will reset back to hidden.
This is quite distracting because it changes the length of the content and thus the page will jerk backwards or forwards and you’ll lose your place.

Note: this is in the iOS app, and I’ve toggled to learning in Japanese

Are you trying via mobile? It isn’t currently supported there (plus it is cheaper to get it via the site, you should definitely use that option)

There’s a bit of a buffer on the end of my N5 vocab completion bar, perhaps because there’s a small one for Beginner plus one for Adept plus one for … you get the idea? Or maybe I’m totally wrong about why it’s appearing only for this JLPT level

Hi, maybe I missed some setting, or maybe I’m wrong, but I think the yellow message that is displayed when there is some nuance to the answer given or when it is not entirely correct is not being displayed on the app. On the contrary, it is displayed on the desktop version.

Also i think there’s additional separators for every non-existent items in between the existing ones
So if there’s only master and beginner items, the progress bar is gna show separators for adept seasoned n expert as well. Doesn’t have to be at the very end of the bar either:

Hi,
I cannot set vocabulary to “mastered” in the learn page on desktop browser (chrome).
“Set as mastered” button shows as “Failed”, and I see a 500 Internal Server Error coming back from /update_via_action_type

This is happening in the Bunpro N5 Vocabulary deck. I just tried the N4 deck, and I was able to mark vocab as “Mastered” without any issues.

Default Grammar Review Type error/bug:
To replicate:
- Set Question Type to Reading for default, with Reveal & Grade
- Press Update All
- Refresh page
Result will be that instead of Reading remaining as the default, Translate will also have Default as a marker, and is not directly selectable unless you click Fill In or Listening. Reviews will sometimes still retain fill in the blank answers, even after pressing this Update All.
This is on Desktop and Mobile.
Also, sometimes I am getting page crashes on mobile (not using the app) which require a full page refresh. Not sure if this is related to some transient jQuery errors that I am seeing. Don’t have crash debugging currently set up on this mobile, so I’m not sure what is causing it. Having these issues with no scripts or any site modifications running.
Having problems trying to duplicate a (rather large) community deck so I can edit it for my own needs. I keep getting an error page saying Bunpro refused to connect, then I end up with a copy of the deck that only has about half the terms from the original.

In the morning (5-6am CEST) i learned all the planned new items (my default amount 2 grammar items, 8 vocabulary items). After finishing the learning status was 9/10, showing that I still have one more vocabulary item to learn. Additionally, it is already time to do the reviews for the new items (it’s after 9am CEST), but I see, I have no reviews available.

hi, im having trouble with reviews, this is the second time it happens in a 3-4 hour span.
the forecast shows that i have available reviews right now, but the button to do the reviews up gray with the message “all caught up!” and marks 0 available reviews, also the bar on the top of the screens shows 0.
it’s happening to me both on web (google chrome on a macbook) and on the app where it shows “you have no pending reviews right now” but still shows pending items on the forecast (iphone, just updated)
edit: i don’t know how to make my images less gigantic, im sorry

I also have the same issue as @sasssha :
That’s from a computer on firefox but I get the same on my phone with chrome and the app.
Forecast says I have reviews but none are availabe, (well actually to begin with it gave me 5 of 11).

Following @Natalia95 observation I believe it is the new reviews which are not becoming available, as you can see review forecast seems to think all of mine that should be available are new.

Across the hour its seems to have fixed itself for me:
It did give me 7 reviews.

I seem to have a batch of 6 that are actually available an hour after forecast.
