Feedback emails

In the past few days I’ve been getting a few emails from Bunpro about replies to feedback on sentences. I don’t need these email notifications, as I check the website every day anyway so I wanted to unsubscribe from them, but:

  1. There is no unsubscribe link in the email itself (I was under the impression that is actually illegal in some jurisdictions, but even if it’s not I think there should be one)
  2. There doesn’t seem to be a toggle for this kind of email in the settings either, or if there is then it’s not clearly communicated under which category this type of email falls.

How can I unsubscribe?

If it’s an important thing to you that these emails stop immediately, I’d try contact them with [email protected].

Otherwise I’d recommend posting it on the Suggestions thread, or create a Feedback (yes the irony) that asks to display an option to disable updates to the email. If you open a separate thread, you might not get attention from the team unless you ping them, and I’m not entirely sure who is in charge of that. Maybe @Daru ?

I wasn’t sure whether it should be considered a bug or a feedback, and I figured the potential legality issues would warrant it not getting lost in the megathreads anyway.

Well depends on how you look it, it can be both. I guess with the ping will be enough to drag attention to the matter.

Thanks for the feedback!
Due to being related to specific feedback you gave, we classified them as important emails but I can see how having a specific setting for them to be turned off would be good. I have added it to our current sprint and will include an option with the next release.
